Here's a bio for Fine Mess. I've written it in a few lengths so you can drop it wherever you need — press, event listing, or a booking blurb. Full bio (press / booking): Fine Mess is the international rock 'n' roll project built around Dustin Dollin and Julia Pierce. Dollin — the Australian skateboarding legend of Baker and Volcom's Let's Live era, and the self-proclaimed "last of the Piss Drunx" — brings a fearless frontman presence and a razor-blade voice. Pierce, a fixture of the New York City punk scene (Titsdickass / TDA), anchors the band with sharp hook-craft and a steadying hand. The two met by accident on New York's L train and, by the end of that night — at a Lydia Lunch show — Fine Mess was already in motion. Their songwriting is provocative, literate, and combustible, stripping rock 'n' roll back to its roots and early punk's unpretentious fun: primal rebellion with a cheeky grin. Rounded out live by Jesse Sattler (bass) and John Zimmerman (drums), the band released its debut LP Fine Mess in June 2026 — recorded at Sound at Manor with Oakley Munson (The Black Lips) — and has been tearing across stages from Bali to Bushwick to Mexico City ever since. Loud, raw, and straight from the gut.
