Eclectic & Original Latin Music Duo
Alma Sangre is an eclectic original act unlike anything you have seen. Combining inventive Latin guitar and Spanish lyrics accompanied with flamenco dance, this husband and wife team are on to something special all while honoring their Mexican and Cuban roots. The band features singer/guitarist Antonio Aguilar (featured in Premier Guitar Magazine) and multi instrumentalist and dancer Meg Castellanos. Inspired by the grit and emotion of Chavela Vargas, their music is poetic and filled with dramatic tension.The performances are theatrical with original material that will become familiar upon first listen. Alma Sangre was formed in 2014 after their rock band Totimoshi was winding down. It was briefly put aside when they formed All Souls in 2016 where they went on to perform with such heavyweights as TOOL. Wanting to focus back on acoustic music, they started playing as Alma Sangre again in 2023 and are busy writing new material which expands into gypsy jazz, Afro-Latin and experimental classical guitar. Their ""Dame Dolor"" EP was released in full in 2025 along with companion music videos for each track. They recently finished recording their follow up album which finds them stepping into a more lively electric set with nods to Santana, Los Lobos and Marc Ribot y Los Cubanos Postizos. Their latest single and video ""Ay mi Dios"" was just released last month. Alma Sangre have played galleries, restaurants, wineries, boutique hotels and clubs in the US and Mexico and have recently relocated from Los Angeles, CA to Puerto Vallarta. Their former bands have been direct support for Tool, Mastodon, Jesus Lizard, Melvins, Meat Puppets and Helmet to name a few.

We're a pizza shop and bar located in Flamingo Heights, just north of Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree. We have live music, cocktails, beer and special pop up events. We pride ourselves on being the local watering hole for so many lovely desert dwellers, but we also love seeing new faces.
