Bird Brain is a rare acoustic trio built around chemistry, simplicity, and great songs. Formed by chance on the streets of Los Angeles, the group brings together Brian Brady on acoustic guitar, Robin “Bird” Torrence on percussion, and Steven James on upright bass. After meeting while busking in Larchmont Village, the three musicians discovered a natural musical connection and never looked back.
Their name grew from a playful blend of Bird’s nickname and Brian’s given name. Drawing from Folk Rock, Jazz, Caribbean, and Latin influences, Bird Brain delivers a laid-back mix of originals and covers, featuring warm harmonies, tasteful grooves, and an upbeat, low-volume acoustic sound.

We're a pizza shop and bar located in Flamingo Heights, just north of Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree. We have live music, cocktails, beer and special pop up events. We pride ourselves on being the local watering hole for so many lovely desert dwellers, but we also love seeing new faces.
